Introduction:
We recently received good news from Germany that the Government of Germany was set to sign bilateral agreements with Kenya for job employment opportunities in Germany. This is a great opportunity for our youth to live and work in Germany and improve their livelihoods.
Germany is facing immense labour shortage for both skilled and semi skilled workers and currently requires over 250,000 working immigrants each year, What an opportunity!!!!!!
Since one of the requirements to benefit from this window of opportunity is proficiency in Germany language, you will need the Goethe-Zertifikat B1. This certificate indicates that you are an independent user of the German language and corresponds to level B1 (third level) of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
German which is also referred to as Deutsch, is a West Germanic language that is mainly spoken in Central Europe. It is the most widely spoken and official language of Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Alsace-Lorraine (France), Northern Italy, East-Belgium, Luxembourg and Liechtenstein

GERMAN LANGUAGE LEVEL DESCRIPTION:

  • Level A1
    After completing this beginner stage, you will be able to understand and use common everyday expressions and phrases.
    You have the potential to introduce yourself and others.
    You can also ask and answer questions about personal information like where you live, who you know, and what you own.
  • Level A2
    A2 German level refers to above beginner, intermediate level German knowledge.
    You can easily make simple sentences and simple daily conversations at A2 German level.
    A2 German level is the second level in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
    Be able to describe your background, immediate surroundings and other description associated with immediate needs
  • Level B1
    This signifies an intermediate language proficiency,
    learners can comfortably express themselves in everyday situations.
    It's a crucial stage that opens doors to enhanced communication and deeper cultural understanding
    You will be able to understand the main points in conversations and texts in relation to your work and leisure time.
    You can report on experiences
    Is a MINIMUM requirement to live and work in German
  • Level B2
    It corresponds to the "advanced intermediate" language level
    It is usually achieved by people learning German as a foreign language.
    To reach this level, you must be able to express yourself clearly and in detail and make even more complex issues understandable
