Home Management

The government introduced mandatory training and certification for Kenyans
planning to travel to the Middle East as domestic workers in 2022.
This will help address the challenges domestic workers face at work, and Kenyans
who intend to take up these jobs in foreign countries must be proficient in English
with at least a Standard Eight certificate, and must have taken a test approved by
Nita.
This curriculum is aimed at equipping Kenyan migrant workers, youth and workers in
the domestic sector with knowledge, skills, attitudes and values which enables them
to provide effective management of the home and resources, childcare and home
nursing both especially in the Saudi Arabia market.
In an endeavour to assist migrant workers cope with anticipated challenges in the
new work environment, the curriculum incorporates course units in pre-departure
and life skills.
The Curriculum focuses on:-

1. Home care Management
2. Life skills
3. Pre-departure training

It is accredited by the National Industrial Training Authority (NITA) and essentially
targets those seeking employment abroad.
Training for home care management is free as the funds for recruitment, medical
services, travel documents and tickets are paid by the agency in the destination
country.
These courses equip migrant workers with skills that will be useful on getting
employment abroad .
In the past few years we have had increased labour migration.
Kindly note that our sister companies – Job plus international Limited and Capacity
outsourcing (Kenya) Limited are accredited foreign recruitment agencies and are
instrumental in seamlessly providing linkages with recruitment agencies abroad.
