BASIC GUARDING COURSE FOR SECURITY OFFICERS LEVEL 1

This course is a requirement under the Private Security Regulation Act No.13 of 2016, stipulating that every Private security officer must undergo annual mandatory training accredited by the Private Security Regulatory Authority (PSRA). In collaboration with our strategic security firm partner, we ensure that all candidates for international job placements undergo this course before embarking on the security syllabus of the targeted host country. We are currently recruiting for the Saudi Arabia and Qatar markets.

COURSE OUTLINE:

The course is designed for prospective security officers to equip them with the basic knowledge to orient them on the requirements that will enable them handle day to day security work. This is a PRSA approved course that is mandatory before you can take your exam and get your license/ Guard force number as a private security officer. On successful completion, the trainees will have gained the necessary skills and knowledge to enable them work as security guards in a wide range of work places. The course consists of 18 units as here below:

• Security risks, threats and hazards
• Basic security procedures
• Security equipment and animals
• Kitting and turnout

• Emergency level first aid
• Physical fitness and foot drills

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

• Age – 24-35 years
• Physically fit and above 60 kgs.
• Form 4, D+ and above
• High level of Honesty and integrity
• Valid certificate of good conduct
• Good written and spoken English and Kiswahili
• Well-groomed and presentable
• Holder of a valid passport (We can assist you acquire one at cost)
